Fictional Movie Trailer

SEAFOAM is a project exploring how storytelling can emerge from curated footage from various productions, original voice performances, and an evocative soundtrack.
As a personal creative exercise, I crafted a fictional 60-seconds movie trailer by curating and editing cinematic footage sourced on Filmsupply, a platform for premium film licensing.
One of the main challenges was sourcing footage from many different productions, each with its own lighting, color palette, and cinematographic style, and weaving them together seamlessly to create a coherent and engaging story.
The original footage was provided without any sound; all voiceovers, sound design, ambient sounds, and music were added during the editing process to build the narrative atmosphere from scratch.
To further enrich the soundscape and deepen the emotional tone, I collaborated with two professional voiceover artists, Luna Yves and Eddie Contento.
I enjoy exploring the intersection between technology, using tools like ElevenLabs to voice "KORA", the AI memory system, and the irrepleceable human touch through collaboration with professional voiceover artists.
Part of the challenge was also writting and selecting dialogue that could deliver depth and character development within a strict 60-second format. Every line had to be carefully crafted and timed to contribute meaningfully to the storyline.
I’m particularly inspired by poetic science fiction and near-future dystopias. In my creative universe, I’m drawn to stories set at the intersection of technology and emotion. Films or series like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Her, Black Mirror, and Aftersun have shaped my sensitivity to loss, inner loneliness, and the quiet beauty of impermanence.
